Building Inspection Program
Elazığ Organized Industrial Zone Vocational School was established in accordance with the Senate Decision No. 39 dated 13.01.1995, decided at the YÖK General Assembly Meeting dated 06.02.1995, and Article 7/d–2 of Law No. 2547, amended by Law No. 2880. It has been providing education and training in Elazığ Organized Industrial Zone since 2010.
Elazığ Organized Industrial Zone Vocational School Construction Department includes Construction Technology Program and Construction Inspection Program.
Program Profile:
In accordance with the “Construction Inspection Implementation Regulation” published in the Official Gazette dated 12.08.2001 and numbered 24491, under the direction and management of architects and engineers; Inspects the compliance of prepared projects with the legislation, the accuracy of details and calculations, and the existence of the registry status documents of the project owners. Ensures that any deficiencies and errors are corrected. Approves projects that are free of deficiencies and errors.
Conducts inspection works such as measurement, calculation, project, etc. given to him by the engineer under the responsibility of the building inspection engineer. Initials the measured and arranged documents such as survey, attachment, minutes, sections, projects, etc. and gives them to the engineer to be examined and signed. After the site is delivered, performs the necessary inspections and supervisions during the construction of the foundation section, prepares the foundation mold and iron reinforcement manufacturing control report and the foundation concrete casting report, and approves the conformity of the operations performed. During the manufacturing of the carrier system section, after the concrete mold, iron equipment and other necessary installations are checked, concrete casting is allowed under the supervision of the civil engineer. Prepares a report for each concrete casting work to be carried out in the structure.
To provide life and property safety by preventing unplanned, uncontrolled and low-quality construction by meeting the need for qualified intermediate manpower within the developing technology, to prevent waste of resources, to contribute positively to the economy by producing projects and structures in contemporary norms and standards.
The building inspection technician is the person who works between civil engineers and architects and building technicians in the construction sector, primarily in building construction, transportation (highway, railway) and water structures (irrigation-drainage, water supply and wastewater facilities, dams, etc.). The aim of our program is to train intermediate staff needed in the sector by supporting the theoretical information given during the education process with existing workshop and laboratory facilities.
