Electronics Technology Program
Elazığ Organized Industrial Zone Vocational School was established in accordance with the decision of Senate Decision No. 39 dated 13.01.1995 at the General Assembly Meeting of the Council of Higher Education dated 06.02.1995 and Article 7/d–2 of Law No. 2547 amended by Law No. 2880. It has been providing education in Elazığ Organized Industrial Zone since 2010.
The Department of Electronics and Automation was opened within the Elazığ Organized Industrial Zone Vocational School as of 2008; and the Electronics Technology Program was opened within the relevant department and started providing education as of the Fall semester of the 2008-2009 Academic Year.
Program Profile:
In addition to training the necessary intermediate staff with our curriculum organized according to the needs of the Organized Industrial Zone, our students get a head start in life thanks to our program supported by the Council of Higher Education. Our department has been producing graduates since 2008.
The Department of Electronics Technology; It is an associate degree program that trains technicians who work in the production of electronic devices in the factory and provide assembly, maintenance, repair or sales of these electronic devices. Graduates of the department are referred to as Electronics Technicians or Electronics Technologies Technicians.
Electronics Technology branch courses, Basic engineering courses, Computer-aided drawing courses, Electronics laboratory courses, Computer-aided production courses, Professional Application Courses and Other courses are included in the education-training plan of the Electronics Technology Program.
Electronics Technology Program; It is a technical intermediate staff training program that is between the senior manager and/or engineer and the master, worker or technician, with more application skills than the engineer and more theoretical knowledge than the technician, due to its duty in the field of work. A staff with these qualifications can assume the role of management and leadership in some small or medium-sized enterprises.

In our program, courses are given by two full-time faculty members, one full-time faculty member, and faculty members assigned from the central campus when needed. Our program has one Electronics Laboratory and one Computer-Aided Drawing class.

Becomes knowledgeable about Turkish Revolution History and conscious about Atatürk's Principles.
Becomes knowledgeable about Transducers and Sensors and can apply them.
Recognizes electronic circuit elements, knows concepts related to electronics, uses electronic circuit elements in the relevant circuit and can make electrical measurements.
Becomes knowledgeable and conscious about ethical values, social responsibility and social security rights in matters related to Electronics Technology.
Contributes to the development of businesses by following technological developments related to Electronic Technology and can make necessary inspections and plans in businesses.
Knows the basic principles and design of power electronics, analog electronics and digital electronics.
Shows that he/she can use the theoretical knowledge, cognitive and physical skills required in practical applications related to the field of Electronic Technology.
Knows a sufficient level of English as a foreign language related to his/her profession.
Can adapt microprocessors and digital electronics theories to industrial electronics.
Effectively uses measuring devices in fault analysis of electronic circuits and performs maintenance and fault operations by analyzing the data obtained.
Has the ability to express himself/herself freely, communicate and develop new ideas.
Knows electric motors, can create control systems, and commands with PLC systems.
Gains the ability to realize drawings of projects using computer-aided drawing and simulation programs related to his/her field.
Has knowledge and awareness of occupational safety, environmental protection, worker health and quality.
Gains the ability to realize drawings and plans of professional projects related to his/her field.
Has the ability to evaluate and interpret relevant data in the field, develop solution suggestions and identify problems.
Effectively uses the tools and modern techniques required for applications related to the field.

Transition to Advanced Programs:
Candidates who successfully complete their associate degree education can continue their education and training in faculties that provide undergraduate education if they are successful in the DGS (Vertical Transition Examination).
