History

Our Vocational School in Elazığ Organized Industrial Zone; It started education and training in 1995 in the Department of Electrical Engineering of the Faculty of Engineering under the name of Mining Vocational School and in 1998 it moved to Etibank facilities in Maden district.

In the following processes, due to the decrease in the number of students, our Vocational School was moved to Sivrice Vocational School.

In 2004, due to the earthquake in Sivrice district, education and training could not be provided due to the damage in the Vocational School building.

Our Vocational School continued its education and training activities in the Elazığ Health School building between 2004-2010. Our Vocational School has been continuing its education and training activities by moving to the allocated building in Elazığ Organized Industrial Zone since 2010.

Our Vocational School has changed its name upon the request of the campus where it is located and the Elazığ Industrial Zone Directorate. In 2013, our name, which was Mining Vocational School, was changed to Elazığ Organized Industrial Zone Mining Vocational School. Our Vocational School moved to the newly constructed additional building in Elazığ Organized Industrial Zone in 2016 and continues its education and training activities.
